Moravian-Muhlenberg College football series

When Moravian's Ryan Rempe powered into the end zone for the fourth time on Saturday afternoon, the Greyhounds had earned one of the greatest wins in their long history.

Moravian (8-2, 6-2) persevered after letting an early 14-0 lead slip away. "We talked a lot about faith and believing, and today was the epitome of that," Greyhounds coach Scot Dapp said.

After falling behind 21-14, Moravian got one last chances when a hard hit by Greyhounds defensive end Don Maxwell caused John DeLuca to fumble, and linebacker Anthony Carney of Bethlehem Catholic recovered at Muhlenberg's 11 with 1:11 remaining.

A defensive pass interference gave Moravian a first down at the 2, and Rempe scored his third TD on the next play. Brian Reckenbeil's extra point sent the game into overtime.

The 57th edition of the Moravian-Muhlenberg football series will truly go down as one of the all-time classics.
